Product Description

Introduction:

This blanket flammability tester is designed based on ASTM D4151.

It is suitable for evaluating flame retardant performance of bedding, including bed sheets, blankets, mattress mattress, pillow, duvet, and similar products that used to cover on the bed.

This test method uses the standardize flame to burn the sample surface within the prescribed time, observing the combustion, degree of damage or discoloration of standard sample, in order to evaluate the grade of tested fabric.

ASTM D4151 Standard Test Method for Flammability of Blankets

Main Features:

1. This blanket flammability tester adopts stainless steel cabinet, width 370mm x length 220mm x height 510mm, with transparent viewing window;
2. The needle flame is adjustable;

3. The needle valve regulates flame height; flame length is 16mm
4. The ignition timing can be set freely;

5.There is a safety gas valve in the cabinet, the gas could pass through only the machine power is started.

6.The burner of blanket flammability tester can rotate; the distance from the top of the burner to the surface of the sample is 8mm.

7.Flowmeter range: 0-200ml / min;

8.Timer accuracy is 0.1 s.

9.When the burner is turned to the ignition position, the ignition time will be automatically timed. The ignition time is 1s, with the function of time remind;

10.This blanket flammability tester is provided with standard stainless steel sample holder.
