Some tips for pet owners to keep in mind.

• Remember that high Radon concentration can affect your dog much more than you. Don't wait until you decide to check your house for Radon, because it may already be causing your pet discomfort.

• Many older dogs or cats have unidentified breathing problems as well as respiratory disorders that can be related to high Radon level in some areas of the house.

• Do not let your dog stay for a long period of time in ground floors or areas that are below ground, this is the most common area for highest Radon concentration.

• If you have identified areas of high Radon level, use Radon Mitigation system to improve the Air Quality of the house. In result have a better health for you and your family as well as your furry friends!

Long Term Average

The long-term average measurement mode is the average radon value over the last year (updated once every hour). Is mostly used to identify any potential health risk.

Short Term Average

The short term average alternates between showing the radon value over the last day (1 DAY - updated every hour) and over the last 7 days (7 DAYS - updated every hour). The short term average is used primarily to see the effect of measures to reduce the radon level - for example by increasing the ventilation.

Coefficient of InjuryIt is used for easier results interpretation.

The "Coefficient of Injury" increases by +1 bar when long-term average increase by 0.7pCi/L, maximum is 10. And the "WARNING" indicator light will flash when the coefficient of injury is 5. Also, the flash frequency increases with the increase of the coefficient of injury.
